While remaining faithful to the heritage established by its pioneers and predecessors, the Baptist Union of Sweden now intends to move forward. It wants to convey the same message to new generations, using contemporary language and methods. To this end, a number of new initaitives have been launched, among them Pioneer Work, The Bromma Dialogue (Brommadialogen) and Social Responsibility. The focus of our Pioneer Work is the local church and its resources. It supports churches willing to take coruageous new steps and enter into new projects, involving planting new churches, starting processes of change within old ones, or reaching new target groups and meeting new needs in the community.
